The program is started differently depending on what type of computer you have:
For Windows Users

When you click the link, your browser will ask you what you want to do with the file to be downloaded. The question is addressed different depending on whether you are using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc. What you want to do is run the file, open the file and so on.
Once you start the installation program, Dietitian Net will be installed on your computer. When installation is complete, Dietitian Net will start automatically.
You can now throw away the installation file in the trash and continue to run the program from the program menu.
You do not need to have administrative rights on the computer to install the software. However, it may happen that the network your computer is connected to is set up in a way that does not allow Dietitian Net to function. You are then directed to start the program the other way.

Java is a software platform that is needed to be able to use Dietitian Net if you don't use the above installer. If you do not have Java, you can download it from the following link: Download Java
If you have Java installed, and are using Windows it may happen that your computer still does not understand that Java should be used to run Dietitian Net. You can then register Java as the program to use by the following steps:
1. Click Start
2. Click Default Programs
3. Click Associate a file type or protocol with a program
4. Double click on .jnlp
5. Click Browse
6. It may look different depending on your computer:
Alternative a)
navigate to C:\Program Files\Java\jre[6 or 7]\bin
Alternative b)
navigate to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Java\jre[6 or 7 ]\bin
7. Mark javaws.exe
8. Click Open
9. Click Ok
